#AWOF

Tip of the day: Stop being lazyThere could have been a second tip of the day today. It could have been "help lazy people by marking anything that is and assertion without facts". Today we take a look at assertions without fact (AWOF). This is one of the biggest tools used in our culture and it's dysfunctional. It's almost like we forgot that people are capable lying, being deceptive and keeping secrets.
Our hope is that every one of you will make a conscious effort to be less lazy. We also hope that you help others who are clearly too lazy to verify anything for themselves with a mark of sorts. This is were #AWOF comes into play. When people hide behind assertions as though they are facts, mark it.

Today we take a look at how influence works. There are two channels to pick from and it's not as complicated as you're often led to believe. We can buy into the hierarchical model of influence or the relational ( social influence ) model. One leads to failure without the other while one of them is a stand alone process of success. Today at Healthy Perspectives we take a look at the strange new reality in the United States. People who were not fearful have become fearful and those that were functioning from fear are now not fearful. You may have noticed this strange phenomenon since the election. We dropped this episode in hopes that no matter what side of the situation you're on, you will stop, take a step back and look around and within. The process to overcoming fear is not as difficult as many think and it's more critical than most people think. People don't generally function well from a place of fear. Let's make a change.
